About Proof at Art Centre Theatre
The Detroit rapper is the pioneer to symbolize Detroit at the Black Entertainment Television Hip Hop Awards. The artist was known for his off-the-cuff rhyming talent which he demonstrated in numerous battles and shows. The musician was involved in several extracurricular activities, including the group The Rhythm Outlaws, which allowed him to explore different musical styles. Art Centre Theatre
Art Centre Theatre is the location of the pioneering community performance of 'The Sound of Music' with a live children’s chorus in 1996. In 1998 the theatre was the pioneering venue in the area to include a fold-away stage which allowed for multiple staging setups. Hosting its first performance on Sep 15, 1967 the Art Centre Theatre became known as a top entertainment venue in the urban area.
