About DCI: Drum Corps International in Salem

Drum Corps International was created by the unification of multiple prior associations including the veterans' organizations. Creating the training initiative, Drum Corps International provides training sessions and educational events led by knowledgeable instructors. In 2011, DCI unveiled the Open Class category to support emerging and novice corps in a performance setting. Impressively, the 2002 Championships featured an one-of-a-kind act by the ensemble that included elements of contemporary choreography. Organizing the Drum Corps Associates Championships in collaboration with Drum Corps International, this collaboration enhances the performance arts; notably, the DCI Future Fund was founded to sustain the continuation of marching bands and ensure its endurance.

Including a sports history gallery within the location, the stadium showcases artifacts and notable moments from community sports legacy.
