About Information Society in Everett
Information Society are a band that has added to the background music of several films and television programs. Participating in the 1989 'Techno! The New Dance Sound of Detroit' compilation the band contributed the piece 'Running '. The band has been involved in several partnerships with other performers, including a remix of the band Erasure's song ' the track Chorus '. Remarkably, Information Society has been acknowledged with contributing to popularize synth-pop in the America during the 80s-90s transition period. Releasing a limited edition vinyl for the 2014 Record Store Day they catered to vinyl enthusiasts; remarkably, the band has tried out various sound recording approaches, from analog to modern, over their many years journey in music.
