About Jon Schmidt in Durham
Jon Schmidt of the 2022 National Endowment for the Arts Grant for his innovative projects. Schmidt's musical style combines aspects of concert jazz, and current pop genres. He has released multiple solo albums, including 'All of Me' in 2014 and 'The Greatest Hits of Piano Guys' in 2016. In 1997, he co-founded the piano ensemble, which substantially elevated his international recognition. He has a tradition of performing a special holiday concert every holiday season in Utah's capital; remarkably, he has been featured on NPR's 'Performance Today' numerous occasions since 2010 AD.
