About PAX East
The convention has hosted many panels on game design and development processes. Coordinating several panels and discussions, PAX East provides perspectives from veterans and designers. The gathering is organized by Penny Arcade, a webcomic created by Mike Krahulik and Gabriel. In 2021 AD, PAX East adapted its programming to include hybrid events, allowing for both face-to-face and remote attendance. Debuting in 2004 with PAX Prime, the PAX series expanded to feature the eastern PAX in that year; fascinatingly, PAX East has a strong focus on community, with numerous opportunities for attendees to interact with industry professionals and creators.
