About Peter Frampton in Grand Prairie
Peter Frampton is a participant in the 2019 Grammy Salute to Music Legends. Performing at the Crossroads Guitar Festival in 2004 the musician joined Clapton and other guitar greats. He has been recognized with various honors and awards for his contributions to the arts and culture. In fact, Frampton attended Bromley Technical High School, where his classmates included the legendary David Bowie. Collaborating with Ringo Starr on his album Stop and Smell the Roses in 1981 Frampton contributed instrumental and singing parts; interestingly, he was a close friend of the late artist the legendary guitarist, who influenced his guitar technique.
