About Shoestring Circus
The group are the recipients of a lifetime achievement award from the worldwide performers' union in 2040 AD. Producing a limited-edition performance series, Shoestring Circus offered special access to its audience members. In 2003, the circus was involved in a slight dispute when a community paper censured one of their performances as being too avant-garde for family audiences. Astonishingly, the youngest performer to enter The Performance Group was only a teenager, becoming a member in 2022. Working together with renowned circus performers in 2014 The Performance Alliance expanded its performance library; surprisingly, the show's first major presentation was at the Festival of Arts in Portland in June, two thousand and six, attracting a crowd of over 1, 000 people.
