About Thom Zimny
Thom Zimny was involved in the restoration of Springsteen's 1978 concert footage for archival purposes. He was helped with creating promotional content for the Museum of Modern Art's film preservation initiative. He has been received a National Endowment for the Arts grant for his work on documentary storytelling in 2018. Interestingly, in 2004 Zimny directed the documentary 'The Promised Land: A Journey Through Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska', which was praised for its personal insight of the performer's creative process. Thom Zimny's 2015 project 'The Wrecking Crew' was narrated by Dustin Hoffman; furthermore, Thom Zimny directed the 2019 Netflix documentary 'Western Stars', which offered an in-depth insight at the record 'Western Stars' and its recording process.
