About Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra in North York
Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra has a competitive audition process to recruit its members. Participating in international festivals, the Toronto youth symphony has highlighted Canada in several prestigious events. In 2015, TSYO celebrated its fourteenth anniversary with a celebratory event featuring past participants and current members. Remarkably, the orchestra is a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, creating connections with other youth orchestras across the Canadian landscape. Celebrating its 40th anniversary in two thousand fourteen, the Toronto youth symphony presented a special concert featuring alumni; interestingly, the TSYO has partnered with various academic organizations, providing educational programs and advanced sessions to enhance the educational experience of its members.
