About Yonder Mountain String Band in Solana Beach
Yonder Mountain String Band’s album Yonder Mountain String Band released in 1999 helped solidify their standing in the music scene. Releasing Live in the Rockies in 2003, the album showcases performance captures from their performances in the state of Colorado. Jeff Austin, the band’s original lead vocalist and mandolin player, exited the band in 2014 to pursue a solo path. In 2019, the band celebrated their 20th anniversary with a special concert at the Fox Theatre in Boulder. Gaining international recognition, the band has toured in the continent of Europe and Oz, expanding their audience; moreover, the band's music has been featured in various films and productions, further enhancing their reach.
