About David Byrne at 3Arena
The creator is the originator of the 2016 album The Last Emperor which revisited his 1987 soundtrack. Taking part in the 2013 edition of 'All Tomorrow's Parties' Byrne curated a lineup that reflected his diverse preferences. Byrne's Broadway show American Utopia, which premiered in 2019, was adapted from his 2018 album of the same name and featured an unique, mobile stage design. Interestingly, he has been an outspoken critic of the music industry's traditional business models. Coming into the world on the 14th of May, 1952 in Dumbarton, Scotland, David Byrne is a founding member of the Talking Heads; fascinatingly, the artist has participated in art installations, including playing a building as a musical instrument.
