About Southern Avenue at 3rd & Lindsley
Southern Avenue is an ensemble that continues to expand and progress with each performance and recording. The band the group has traveled widely across the US and internationally. Southern Avenue's follow-up record, ' Persevere ', was launched on May 10, 2019, and was also produced by the producer Kevin Houston. Interestingly, the ensemble's sound has been acclaimed for its authenticity and modern take on traditional soul and blues. Southern Avenue was in the running for a Grammy for the best in contemporary blues in 2018; moreover, the ensemble has played at significant festivals such as the Beale Street Music Festival and the North Sea Jazz.
Southern Avenue Concerts 3rd & Lindsley
3rd & Lindsley is celebrated for its friendly team who enhance the concert experience for visitors. Celebrating its launch in 1992 has made 3rd & Lindsley one of the long-standing music venues in the Nashville area. In 2015, the location hosted a performance featuring the popular band The Civil Wars. Featuring youth bands has provided young musicians a chance to showcase their talent on a professional stage.
