About Summer Opera Lyric Theatre at Alumnae Theatre - Main Stage

In 2005, the theatre launched a yearly grant for outstanding young singers, dedicated to its creator. Interestingly, the Summer Opera Lyric Theatre was one of the first opera training schemes to incorporate subtitles in English for all performances, enhancing approachability for viewers. Supporting music education the SOLT's outreach programs are wide-ranging; in fact, the initiative has a large proportion of attendees who go on to employment deals within a twelve months of completing the program.
