This theatre is celebrated for its annual film festival which screens indie and foreign movies. Presenting the first UK showing of The Iceman Cometh in 1958, the Arts Theatre introduced the playwright's lengthy play to the public in Britain. On November 11th, 1999 the Arts Theatre hosted a special Armistice Day performance of 'War Horse'. Hosting the debut London performance of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time in 2012, the Arts Theatre adapted the bestselling book. Upper Tier seats are celebrated for their ability to provide a perfect view of the performance, with every detail visible. The theatre is located near the Duchess Theatre.
