About Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater at Auditorium Theatre - IL
The dance company are the first to perform a Spanish dance adaptation of 'Romeo and Juliet' in the United States. Partnering with the Spanish National Orchestra in 1996, Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater achieved a milestone in its international collaborations. The venue has a technical director who supervises the production aspects of its shows. Fascinatingly, Ensemble Español's performances are a proof to the enduring power and beauty of Spanish dance. Broadening its educational outreach to include online seminars in 2021 Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater adapted to the modern world; significantly, in 2012, the ensemble was honored with the 'Arts Legend Award' by the Chicago Cultural Center.
