About Something Rotten at Boise Little Theater
The premiere cast of Something Rotten included the actor Rob McClure as Nick Bottom and Grisetti as the character Nigel Bottom. The musical Something Rotten! Unfolds in the late 16th century amidst the rivalry between dramatists. Nick is represented as the highly driven brother, struggling to establish himself in a landscape dominated by the iconic bard. Furthermore, the musical received a total of a decade of Tony Award nods in 2016, including the title of Best Musical. This production embraces the excitement and chaos of the performing arts community; curiously, the show features intricate costumes that represent the era of rebirth, amplifying the aesthetic appeal of the show.
Boise Little Theater
Boise's performing arts venue is where several unique adaptations of literary works have been realized on stage. Revamping its infrastructure in 2000, Boise Little Theater upgraded its performance area and backstage areas to elevate performance standards. The stage's productions in 2019 featured a combination of new works and well-known productions. Debuting its premises in 1946, Boise Little Theater has been presenting theatrical shows for over seventy years.
