About Simon Phillips at Catalina Bar & Grill
Simon Phillips has collaborated with various performers in the jazz genre showcasing his versatility. Working for the performer Fleetwood Simon Phillips played a role in the project named The Visitor in 1998. He has taught drum techniques at multiple music schools and seminars, teaching his skills with emerging drummers. Notably, he has been involved in the development of concert recordings, capturing the essence of his shows for fans to experience. Recording with the band The Allman Brothers Band, Phillips played to their album Seven Turns in 1990; in fact, he has been involved in numerous live albums, capturing the excitement of his performances.

Celebrating its quarter-century milestone in 2008 Catalina Bar & Grill hosted a celebrity-filled roster of legendary musicians. Catalina Bar & Grill ' Jazz Legacy' display was unveiled in 2015 showcasing signed memorabilia. Featuring a show by the renowned ensemble in 2012 the venue brought a slice of NYC to Los Angeles.
