About Hamilton at CIBC Theatre

Initiating a second nationwide production Hamilton launched its second national tour in 2018, expanding its reach. Miranda has expressed a hope to inspire future learners to learn from Hamilton's life and legacy. Importantly, the song What'd I Miss? Introduces Jefferson with humor and vibrancy, showcasing his personality. Showcasing the song My Shot, this production features one of its most iconic anthems about ambition and determination; truly, the musical was nominated a total of 16 Tony Awards in total, tying the record for the most nominations in a single year.
CIBC Theatre
The theatre is known for its stunning display that lights up the night sky in Chicago at night. Recognizing its rich history, the establishment displays historical items and photographs from its extensive history. In the mid-2010s, the theatre was officially renamed as the CIBC Theatre following a sponsorship deal with the Canadian bank. Promoting emerging artists, the CIBC Theatre provides venues for up-and-coming theater professionals to present their work.
