About Lonesome River Band at Don Gibson Theatre
They is the first bluegrass band to perform at the Coachella' in two thousand fifteen. Being part of a celebratory performance to Earl Scruggs celebrating his legacy to traditional American music. In 2017, the Lonesome River Band celebrated their 35th year with an exclusive tour and the release of a special edition record. Significantly, in 1992, the LRB won the prestigious bluegrass award for Top Album for ' Upholding the Legacy ', a major achievement in their journey. Appearing at the IBMA Bluegrass Live! Powered by PNC Financial Services festival in the capital of North Carolina; surprisingly, the Lonesome River Band has launched over more than a dozen musical works throughout their musical path, each adding to the development of the bluegrass genre.
