It was the setting for a match in 2008 that featured an unprecedented amount of passing yards by both teams. In 1948, a blizzard during a postseason match became part of the team's lore, with athletes contending with the elements, In 2011, a match-clinching FG as time expired propelled the squad to the title game. The Falcons' squad has been recognized for its creative play-calling. Paying tribute to service members during dedicated matches reflects the squad's national pride.
Fairmont State Falcons at Duvall-Rosier Field
The celebrated venue is where the title match was determined in overtime in front of a sold-out crowd. Functioning as a location for training sessions Duvall-Rosier Field helps develop football knowledge at all levels. The venue hosted its inaugural robot battle on 29th of August, 2007 inspiring young engineers. Hosting the 1985 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics District Championship the stadium witnessed a memorable win for the university.
