About Dear Jack at Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre
Dear Jack was a source of hope for many in the emo scene. Andrew McMahon's fight with the disease inspired many of the songs on his albums under the his band's title. Jack Johnson's children have inspired some of his music, including ' My Little Girl ' from the album 'Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies for the Film Curious George '. Remarkably, Dear Jack's act at the Holy See for a global peace event in 2020 was a historic moment for modern music. The Dear Jack Foundation conducts yearly fundraising shows to raise funds and awareness for young adult cancer; moreover, Dear Jack's effect reaches beyond music, as he has been a vocal advocate for mental health awareness.

Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre is renowned for its regular showcase that highlights emerging playwrights. The Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre's holiday program for adolescents focuses on all aspects of theatre production. On January 20, 2023 the stage commemorated the 50th performance of its resident dance company.
