About Chicago - The Musical at Forrest Theatre
This show’s movement is inspired by jazz movement and vaudeville. Taking home six Academy honors including the Oscar for Best Picture, the film was a triumph. The persona of the slick lawyer Flynn, a smooth-talking lawyer, is known for his charisma and manipulative skills, often turning the courtroom into a stage. Examining the empowerment of women, the characters overturn traditional societal norms; curiously, the character of the protagonist Roxie is known for her charisma and cunning, making her a complex anti-heroine.
Forrest Theatre
