Cattlemens Days Rodeo is where the legacy of the Western rider is celebrated. A scholarship program for local students was launched in 1990, financed by event earnings. In 2004, a new category for junior participants was established, nurturing upcoming stars, In 1958, a new event was added, broadening the event and attracting additional competitors. The Cattlemens Days Rodeo are a critical benefit for area nonprofits and organizations. The rodeo's spirit of competition is matched by its sense of camaraderie among contestants.
Cattlemens Days Rodeo at Fred R. Field Western Heritage Center
Fred R. Field Western Heritage Center is equipped with a mechanical bull that has been highlighted in several elite cowboy contests. On October 10, 2010 the center opened its doors again with a festive occasion including acts by nearby and nationwide talents. General Admission tickets provide a more affordable way to enjoy shows at the esteemed center. Mezzanine level seats are strategically placed for superior audio at the FRF Center. From the highway, take exit 42 and follow the directions pointing towards the heritage site. For a scenic detour, take the back roads that wind through the pastoral landscape to the Heritage Center.
