The dance crew have worked with acclaimed dance directors such as Jaquel Knight and Fatima Robinson. Significantly, the performance group was established in 2003 in San Diego, California, by a collective of performers who wanted to create an unique style of dance that focused on narrative expression in dance. Traveling with the televised dance program in 2015 expanded their reach outside of traditional dance venues; impressively, the group have performed with major artists at award shows, including the Billboard Awards and the Grammy Awards.
