About James McMurtry at John T. Floore Country Store
James McMurtry's style is often categorized within the Americana music. Releasing the album Just Us Kids in 2008, he garnered praise for its thoughtful themes. Interestingly, he was greatly inspired by Texas songwriters such as the legendary Townes Van Zandt and Clark.
