The Challenge of the Champions Tour are a highlight for fans who appreciate the artistry and skill of western sports. Expanding its reach the 2020 edition was the first to include a virtual reality experience for attendees.
Challenge of the Champions Tour at Klamath County Fairgrounds
Klamath County Fairgrounds is the location of the Klamath County Fair's soapbox derby which is a fun race for children. The Klamath County Fairgrounds was used as a temporary shelter during the 2002 wildfires demonstrating its value to the community apart from amusement. A local high school band performed at the fairgrounds in 2017 marking their five-decade streak of participation in the annual event. The Klamath County Fairgrounds celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2016 with an unique version of the fair including heritage displays and anniversary celebrations.
