The band's song Slumbering Next to a Friend was influenced by Glenn's personal experiences. Creating a recognizable brand with colorful imagery has set them apart from other bands. The group's initial album, Habits, was launched on March 16, 2010, and featured the hit single Animal. During 2014, their single Sleeping with a Friend was launched, quickly becoming a fan favorite. Presenting their music in hit series and films has broadened their audience reach; notably, their song Animal has been re-recorded by multiple musicians, showcasing its influence across genres.

The Lincoln Theatre is where the regular Jazz on U concert series concert series takes place. In 2003, the establishment marked the 100th birthday of the renowned jazz figure the great Ella Fitzgerald with a special event.
