This venue is where the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta has held its annual conference. The theatre has been a location for performances by local improv groups. In 1990, the performing arts center launched its first-ever music festival, featuring performances by top musicians from across the country. In 1983, the playhouse hosted a series of performances by a renowned international dance company. Rearmost Orchestra seats are at the very back of the orchestra section, offering a comprehensive view. End orchestra seats are located at the end of the orchestra section, still offering a clear view of the stage.
