About Max Creek at Ocean Mist
Max Creek's founding member is lead guitarist and singer Scott. Performing regularly at locations in the New England region, Max Creek has built a loyal following over the time. Max Creek's original lineup included core members Murawski, John Rider, and John J. J. McGowan. Notably, Max Creek developed a loyal following in the Northeast, playing at universities and music festivals throughout the 1970s era and 1980s. Participating in the community surrounding the Grateful Dead, the band shares a connection with fans of the famous musicians; interestingly, the band's live performances are highly sought after, with many fans sharing bootleg versions of their concerts.

Ocean Mist is the only location with a specially-made tidal instrument that plays music with the tide. Ocean Mist organized a marriage ceremony in 2013 that was featured in a matrimonial journal. Ocean Mist's yearly holiday season opener celebration has been a tradition since 1997. The venue's annual ' Band Competition ' contest started in 2003 has kickstarted several successful careers.
