About BalletMet at Ohio Theatre - Columbus
Ballet Met has a resident ensemble of over forty artists. Utilizing over 40 dancers, BalletMet maintains a varied company of dancers from various backgrounds. In the mid-1980s, BalletMet became a permanent ensemble at the arts center in Columbus, enhancing its visibility in the community. Actually, BalletMet became a resident company at the Ohio Theatre in 1982, solidifying a strong presence in the local arts community. Achieving numerous awards, BalletMet has been honored for its role in the arts in Ohio; curiously, BalletMet has a committed team of personnel and volunteers who work tirelessly to promote the institution’s objectives.
