About Skillet at Paul Paul Theater at Fresno Fairgrounds
Skillet is composed of primary singer the talented John Cooper and his wife Korey who plays the guitar and synthesizers. Emphasizing collaboration within the band, John Cooper and Korey Cooper play a significant role in writing songs and music production. In 2008, the band put out the concert recording Comatose Live, which showcased performances from their tour. In fact, Skillet has played at a variety of major music festivals, including the Iconic Vans Warped Tour and The Download Festival. Featuring the hits Renowned and Rescue Me, the album Triumph received acclaim from reviewers; interestingly, the band has received significant praise from both supporters and reviewers, establishing themselves as a powerhouse in the entertainment world.

Paul Theater at the local fairgrounds is celebrated for hosting the regular book fair that promotes reading. In 1995 the Theater named Paul went through a significant refurbishment to improve its features and enhance spectator enjoyment. In 1972 the theater was the setting of a landmark discussion between two regional politicians drawing countrywide notice. The Paul Theater was dedicated to Mr. Paul, a notable personality in the community of Fresno who played a major role to its development.
