About Come From Away at Quadracci Powerhouse - Milwaukee Repertory Theater
This production presents the role of Captain Beverley Bass who is based on an actual pilot from American Airlines. The musical takes its story from the occurrences of September 11 and the hospitality shown by the inhabitants of the community of Gander to stranded airline passengers. The first cast album of Come From Away launched on 30th of September, 2016. Interestingly, the production's commitment to veracity has led to teamwork with experts and experts on the events of 9/11. The show showcases a group of 12 actors who portray over a hundred characters; notably, the musical features a predominantly Canadian cast and creative team, highlighting the country's cultural contributions.
