Come From Away features the use of regional vernacular and language throughout the dialogue. Come From Away underscores the power found in solidarity during challenging times. The story of Come From Away draws inspiration from the actual incidents surrounding the numerous flights that were diverted to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, during the events of September 11, 2001 in 2001. Moreover, the production has been presented at multiple prestigious theaters, including the Royal Alexandra Theatre in the capital of Ontario. Come From Away has seen translations in multiple dialects for worldwide adaptations; in fact, the musical’s songs often showcase communal singing, reflecting the unity of the Gander people.

Quadracci Powerhouse - The Rep is known for its ' Performances for the visually impaired ' offering audio descriptions. In 2016 the Powerhouse Theater staged an event of fresh scripts featuring works by local writers. A 1996 fundraising show raised donations for the youth program of the theater. The Quadracci Powerhouse's learning division furnishes seminars and lessons for aspiring actors of various age ranges. Balcony box seats at the Performance venue offer a secluded retreat with breathtaking views. Mezzanine level provides a comprehensive view of the theater's layout at the QP Theater.
