About Evita at Reagle Music Theatre
Evita is known for its iconic song the hit which became a worldwide hit. The musical's opening number is Requiem for Evita. The musical is based on the life of Marían Eva Duarte de Perón, the second wife of the leader of Argentina Juan Domingo Perón, and narrates the story from her youth to her rise to power and eventual death. Remarkably, the musical's original production featured an extensive lineup of performers, adding to the grandeur and spectacle of the production. Evita is a musical with scores by Andrew Lloyd Webber and words by Tim Rice; interestingly, the musical's plot arrangement, which includes retrospective scenes and a non-linear timeline, was revolutionary for its time.
Reagle Music Theatre
Reagle Music Theatre is celebrated for its seasonal orchestra performance with the Boston Pops Orchestra. Presenting 'Chicago' in 2004, the performers was noted for its sharp choreography and elegant set design. In 1999, the theatre introduced an innovative program of pre-show talks designed to improve the audience's understanding and enjoyment of the shows. Launching the 'Broadway in Waltham ' series in twenty oh-seven, Reagle Music Theatre brought traveling shows of major Broadway shows to its platform. The mezzanine balcony provides a quiet space for thought during poignant moments in the show. The mezzanine balcony's ambiance is elevated by subtle, show-suitable lighting. The annual light festival uses Reagle Music Theatre as its primary location, with paths leading to it from everywhere. From the west, the most scenic route to the venue passes through the old town.
