The Marcus King Band have a custom of releasing performance albums allowing fans to relive their concert experiences. Expanding their musical style with each release The Marcus King Band continues to evolve musically. Marcus King was awarded the ' Top Emerging Talent ' at the 2016 Americana Music Honors & Awards. In fact, The band's song ' Detour' was written during a road trip, capturing the spirit of travel. Celebrating the release of their debut album, Marcus King's ensemble marked the start of their recording career; interestingly, the artist's trademark instrument is a Gibson ES-345, which he has used in many his performances.

Revel Entertainment Center is the site of 2013 Miss America Pageant which was a major event for the establishment.
