The band's members are proficient musicians who play multiple instruments, often changing instruments during performances to keep the concerts engaging. Curiously, The Muir Maid includes partnerships with esteemed musicians, including the artist Billy Strings and the musician Tim O’Brien. Working together with sound engineers known for their contributions in the live music circuit, the musicians have created exceptional music; indeed, they initiated an effective fundraising effort to back the production of their music project Muir Maid.
