The Lensic Performing Arts Center
The Lensic Performing Arts Center The Lensic is recognized for its inclusive programming that invites participation from all community members. Presenting the Santa Fe Institute’s Public Lectures since 2015 has allowed for discussions on science and advancements. In 2018 the Lensic hosted a concert series featuring contemporary Indigenous musicians. Hosting the annual Indigenous Peoples Day celebration since 2016, The Lensic has increased understanding of First Nations traditions. The Orchestra section often contains the most dedicated fans, creating an electric atmosphere during shows. The balcony seating can sometimes offer dramatic views during theatrical performances with extensive staging. If you’re coming from the west, follow West Alameda Street until you reach The Lensic.
