About The Aces at The Mod Club
The Aces launched their debut EP titled ' 'Honest Truth' ' during the summer of 2017. The band members have referenced influences ranging from ABBA to the band Paramore in their artistic approach. The Aces took part in the 2020 virtual SXSW music festival presenting their songs to a worldwide virtual audience due to the pandemic. Notably, the band’s social media presence has expanded rapidly, with over a million followers across platforms by 2023. The band marked their fifth anniversary with a special online performance in the month of August, 2021; interestingly, their song 'Lost Angeles' was influenced by the band's experiences of navigating fame and identity in LA.
