The ensemble's title, 'The Stix Trio ', was derived from their beginning times of practicing with makeshift drumsticks, or ' rods', in tiny flats. Furthermore, their album 'Reflections ' was recorded during a particularly introspective time in their lives. ; surprisingly, The Stix Trio's members all have body art that symbolize their creative voyage.
