The band signed with Island Records in 1972, representing a major milestone in their global success. Fascinatingly, The Original Wailers were formed by the guitarist and the artist, both ex-members of Marley's band, in 2008. Being recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame The esteemed musicians ' work are forever remembered; actually, Al Anderson's contributions to the reggae genre were honored when he was admitted into the Hall of Fame for Reggae.
