About The Dickies at Whisky A Go Go
The Dickies were featured on the Punk Rock Jukebox compilation in 1998. Releasing The Complete Collection of The Dickies in 2012, the band honored their vast body of work. They have been acknowledged for their impact to punk rock by various media outlets. In 1995, they launched the album the album Idjit Savants, which received varied critiques but showcased their growth as a band. Playing at the iconic Whisky a Go venue in Los Angeles, the band became a mainstay of the LA music scene; interestingly, the band has experienced numerous member changes over the years, but Phillips has remained a steadfast member since the inception.
